How To Take A Compliment..

When someone gives you praise for something, how do you react...? Do You humbly accept the praise with a thank You, or do you revel in your own Glory...?

Remember to give God all the praise and glory. Everything we accomplish is because of Him and through Him. All the resources we have are His resources. Even our very lives were gifts from God. He breathed the breath of life into our bodies. Without the Lord Jesus Christ we wouldn't even be here.

Nothing is our own, not even the compliments that man gives us.

Dear Lord,

I humbly deflect all the praise, honor, and glory to You, My King. You are Lord of the Universe. You are my personal Lord and Savior. I realize that every moment of my existence is a precious gift from You. Nothing I have, nothing I have accomplished is of me. It's all You, Jesus...!

My Heavenly Father, I love You. I give this day to You. I am in Your service. I thank You for my blessings and opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others today.

Father today I'd like to lift up the family or individual you are preparing to buy our house in Houston. I know they are out there and eventually the time will be right for that house to sell. We leave it it You capable hands, Lord. Help us be patient and wait on You.

Dear Lord I'd also like to lift up my sweet wife today as she travels to Houston for a business meeting. Keep her safe Lord and bless her meeting, Father.

Lastly Lord I'd like to lift up my place of employment today. There are very few Christians present in my workplace. Help me Father to be salt and light in the darkness. Season my words. May I be extremely thoughtful in my actions. I pray that everyone can see the You in Me.

Lord Jesus, I pray these things in Your Holy Name, Amen.

Pastor Bob Kraft

I've really been ministered to lately by Pastor Bob Kraft who is the founder of the Tennis Ministry. He has a newsletter that sends out all over the world every day. He says more in as few words as any person I know. (Something I really need to work on in my own messages.)

For several days now His message has been EXACTLY what I needed to hear. It's been like a direct pipeline from God. This morning I'm giving thanks to God and asking blessings on Pastor Kraft's ministry. He is making a tremendous impact for the Kingdom.

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are such a wonderful God...! Praise You, Jesus...! You give me everything I need every day. Father God, this world is difficult and we do have troubles but You hold us gently in Your hands and never let us fall. Thank You Lord. I am strong in You. I am Victorious in You.

Lord, Thank You so much for Pastor Bob Kraft's daily words of instruction and encouragement. I lift Him up today. I lift his family up today. Lord I lift his ministry up today. Bless him, dear Lord.

My Savior, My King, I love You and I give this day to You. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Still Too Busy

I'm still too busy. I have replaced some bad habits with good habits but there's still many of them. I still have too many negative thoughts. Oh I don't act them out, but they are still there, none the less. This week I have to pull a lot of things together so I can enjoy a few days off in California with my family.

I'm praying for me this morning.

Lord God,

Father I am not worthy to be in Your presence. I'm a little down today. The more I seek You the tougher it gets. The Evil One is working overtime on me. These past few days I've especially struggled with my thought life. I had an opportunity for a relaxing day yesterday but somehow I managed to schedule every spare minute of my day with activity. I'm not resting enough. I'm tired much of the time. And at other times everything just seems overwhelming.

Help me, Lord. I need to be better organized. I need to manage my time better. I should be spending time in prayer for others not trying to prop myself up. I do thank You Jesus for my sweet wife. She is struggling like I am but she has a firm resolve to serve You faithfully. Thank You for her inspiration.

Father God, there's nothing else I can do but throw myself on Your tender mercy and with Your assistance I can do better from here on out. Guard my thoughts, Lord. Keep them pure and righteous. Guard my tongue as well. Let me not be anxious, impatient, and speak in haste. Let my words all be full of encouragement, my King.

Lord I do Love You, I just have a poor way of showing it... I'm sorry. With Your help, by Your grace I will get control of my thought life and my schedule, too. Lord I'm asking You to bless me so that I might be a blessing to others.

I pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

DaVinci Code: An Opportunity

All we hear about is the Davinci Code this and the Davinci Code that..

I haven't read the book, but from what I understand it's just a fiction Novel. I personally am not really in to biblical fiction.

Will this book and movie lead people astray..? Possibly. Especially those non believers who have never really been exposed to the TRUTH.

I think there is way too much hype going on right now... But what I do see is that more conversations are going to be turned to spiritual matters and like topics because of this movie and book. This will be an excellent opportunity for True Believers to witness to their lost neighbors.

Since my family already owns the book from a long time ago I'll probably read it so I can be well armed in conversation. But I don't intend to spend more money on the movie. I pray today that other Christians will do the same thing. I hope that by boycotting this film that we can send a message to Hollywood that we don't want them to produce movies that attack our faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord, Thank You for this great opportunity to witness. Dan Brown's Davinci Code has got the Christian Community in an uproar but I pray that we act responsibly in defending our faith. I believe that many souls can be won for the Kingdom because of this movie and book.

Lord it appears to me that there is a great spiritual battle going on right now. Indeed, it seems to be escalating. Father I just pray for wisdom and discernment that I may not be tricked or led astray. I pray that I present a solid Christian witness at all times. Lord I want to serve You with all my heart, mind, and soul.

Guard my thoughts Lord. Protect my family. We are prime targets for spiritual attack. Lord I lift up other Christians that they also feel convicted about the Davinci Code. I pray that they take a stand for what they believe in.

Father God I love you and dedicate this day to You. Thank You for my many opportunities to serve You. I pray that I don't miss a single one. And I pray these things in Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Prayer For My TEAM

I've been feeling convicted a lot lately about just laying in bed and saying my prayers before I go to sleep and when I awaken in the morning. Occasionally I'll fall asleep while praying. I know that is not honoring God, or giving Him my Best.

Dr Stanley suggests literally getting on our knees and bowing our heads to pray. I tried that last night and this morning and I am convinced that is a much better posture to pray from. I know I won't fall asleep kneeling on the side of my bed.

Satan was attacking me last night, though. I had a difficult time focusing on prayer. I had difficulty this morning, too. But God did speak to me. And I have this overwhelming desire this morning to pray for my TEAM. Who is my TEAM, you ask...? Well, it's my family of course.

Certainly, I pray for Connor, Elijah, and Monica every day. But this morning I feel this overwhelming desire to pray for us in the context of a family, and as a TEAM.

I've always liked this acronym for T.E.A.M.

Together
Everyone
Achieves
More

I'd like that to be the motto or mission statement of the Chadwell-Copeland family. I do believe that God has great things in store for this family and that we are going to be used mightily for Kingdom Work. Indeed, we are already being presented with great witnessing opportunities right here in this community we live in.

And because of that we are under constant spiritual attack, both individually and as a family. So this morning I'm taking out some extra time to pray for this family. I pray that we really start to gel as a team and begin having our finest championship season.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord You have blessed me with an awesome team. My wife is on fire for You and is a big source of comfort and blessing to me. Connor has a great love for You and great knowledge about the bible. He is a great asset to the team. And although 'Elijah is just in his 'Rookie Season, at only 10 months of age he is already showing a great temperament. He will be the first Chadwell to grow up in a happy healthy home environment where Mommy and Daddy love each other and put You at the center of their lives. I see Elijah growing to be a Great Man of God. He's going to be a super star... Knowing You is the only life he'll ever know...!

What a privilege it is to be the Head Coach and Captain of this team. Lord I pray for my team members today. Father Lift them up in their individual prayer lives. And Father I pray that You enable us to come together and pray and worship You together as a family more. Lord God this world needs more Godly families working together in a TEAM like fashion to impact other families.

Lord I lay this request at Your feet this morning. I love You Lord. Thank You for the precious gift of eternal life. Father I give this day to You. And I pray these things in Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Still Seeking God

Yesterday I started a series on Seeking God but I accidentally posted that study and prayer on the wrong blog. To view yesterday's commentary click here.

Today I continue the series. -But let me make give credit to Dr Charles Stanley of First Baptist, Atlanta for inspiring this series. These thoughts and commentary are stimulated from an article of Dr Stanley's that I recently read.

The commentary yesterday explored the various ways to seek God. Studying scripture and spending time in prayer topped the list. The list continues with more of the obvious: going to church and worshiping. Now, don't come to church simply because it's Sunday. Instead, arrive with a hungry heart and an attitude of God, what do You want to say to me...? What's Your message today...?

Come prepared to hear from Him; have an open Bible, a notebook, and a pen so that you can record what God reveals he is trying to do in your life. You will walk away with truth that will vitally impact your future if you accept it and apply it. Remember, the purpose of going to church is not to entertain you, but rather to allow God to impact your heart, change your life, and make you more Christlike. This will happen when you purposefully invite Him to speak to your heart.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord God, You are an awesome God. You are the Creator of Everything. You give my life purpose. That purpose is to know You better, to seek You daily, and to tell others about You.

Jesus, help me to know You better. Help me to be a better witness for You and Your Kingdom. Lord, help me especially improve my thought life. I have too many negative moments, Lord.

Father God I want to experience in life the success of Hezekiah as described in Chronicles 31:20-21. I want to gain the understanding as is written in Proverbs 28:5. I want to know the contentment described in Psalm 63:1.

Lord, I just want to know You more and be a witness to my family, my community, and impact every encounter in my life's journey for You. Help me to not miss one single opportunity today, Father.

Lord I love You. And I give this day to You, my King. And I pray these things in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

This weekend was an awesome weekend. The tournament on Saturday went well. Mother's day was spectacular. Now I'm looking ahead to the new week and all I can think of to do is just to give thanks and praise to my King....! Lord I want to honor You in every detail of my week this week.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord God You are my King. You are the ruler of my life. Father God, I love You. I humbly thank You dear Lord for the fabulous weekend. Truly Lord, I am humbled in Your presence.

You are Great to be Praised. There is none other like You. You are my God, my Lord, and Savior. Jesus, I am not always faithful to You. But You are ALWAYS faithful to Your People. Praise Your Holy Name.

Holy Father, Matthew 22:37 says to Love You with all my heart, soul, and mind. That has long been one of my favorite bible verses. Father I just pray that You help me to Love You more. I especially struggle with loving You with my mind. My mind wanders, Lord. And it sometimes dwells upon negative thoughts. Help me hold my thought life captive, my King. I want to Love You and serve You with 100% of my being.

Father God, You have been so good to me. Thank You for my awesome family. Thank You for my life. Every day is a blessing.

I give today to You, Jesus.

And I pray these things in Your Holy Name, Amen.

Study of Romans: What does it mean to do spiritual battle...?

The conflict within us between the flesh and the spirit is a form of spiritual warfare, and you win much of the battle just by realizing that the struggle exists. Once you realize the struggle does exist, sin is still a powerful force but it can no longer control you unless you allow it to do so.

You are not doomed to failure, and to believe otherwise is to remain in needless, painful bondage. The truth is you can not wander too far, fail too many times, or exceed Christ's forgiveness. When you repent and return to Him, He always restores You to fellowship.

Spiritual warfare is waged in our minds. Are you tired of fighting a losing battle..? Do you secretly feel like a failure...? It's not true. God longs for you to to turn to Him in every spiritual conflict, acknowledge your weakness, and ask for His power to say no to sin. The sooner you learn to rejoice and grow in the reality of your identity in Christ, the sooner you will experience the thrill of victory.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Spiritual warfare has been on my mind constantly lately. I personally feel under attack even as I compose these lines. I feel my family is under attack, too. Lord, right here, right now I ackowledge that I apart from You I am no match for the forces of darkness. I need You Lord. I need Your Holy Armor. Strengthen me Lord. Shield me, Guide me and lead me, my King.

Protect my thoughts, dear Lord. Keep my heart pure. Let me dwell only on good things and dismiss the bad. Help me to be an encourager. Help me to be the leader You have called me to be.

Yes Lord, today my prayer is about me. I normally try to intercede on someone else's behalf every day but this morning I'm focusing on me, first. I'm weak this morning. I'm tired. I'm slow. I'm a little stressed over being behind on my work. But I lay all that at Your feet my King. I know You can sort it all out. I trust in You. I rest in You, Jesus.

And Father I do also pray for a young lady named Vanessa this morning. She will be coming into our home this summer starting this morning to look after Elijah for a few hours each day so Monica can get caught up on her extensive backlog of work. I just lift Vanessa up this morning. I pray that working with us in our house will be a positive, life changing event for her (and Elijah). And I also pray for Monica and lift her up that she can get caught up on her work quickly.

Lord Jesus I pray too for my stepson Connor who will be competing in his school's district tennis tournament today. I just pray that he compete well today. It's not necessarily about winning, but just fighting the good fight, having a good attitude, and not quiting. I pray that in victory or defeat he will be an ambassador for the Kingdom.

Father God, I do Love You. And I want to live my life in honor of You. I give this day to You, Jesus.

And I pray all these things in the power of Your Sweet, Holy Name, Amen.

The Books of Titus and Timothy

These are two of my favorite books of the bible. In these letters, Paul is commissioning two young men into the ministry. He emphasizes to them to pay close attention to doctrine.

Paul charged Timothy: "In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following" (1 Timothy 4:6). "Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching," Paul adds, "persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you" (v. 16).

Titus 2:10 says we "adorn [or honor] the doctrine of God" by how we live. When it comes to affirming sound doctrine, what we do carries far more significance than what we say.

How do we know doctrine...? We must read the bible. We must pray for wisdom and discernment. We should not just listen to what others have to say about the bible. We should not just study what others have written about the bible.

Listening to sermons and teachings and reading commentaries (like this one) are good, but they are no substitute for an individual's own personal study and quiet time with the Lord.

I urge you readers, make God number one in your life. Make time with HIM Your Priority. I promise if you do then everything else in your life will fall in to place. Seek Him. The Lord honors those who honor HIM.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord for great bible teachers and mighty men of God like Pastor John Macarthur who inspired this morning's word of encouragement. Thank You dear Jesus for men like Pastor Bob Kraft who has established a worldwide tennis ministry. Father God I lift up these men and their ministries today. I lift up their families. I just found out that Pastor Bob and his wife are expecting a baby in August. Praise You, Jesus.

And Lord I just pray for a continued blessing on my family and my ministry. I view my family and friends, my tennis students, my co-workers, everyone whom I encounter in my daily walk is my ministy... Help me to be an effective witness to them. Help me to always be a source of encouragement and inspiration to those I encounter in my daily walk. Father, just keep me on fire for You. I want to know sound doctrine. I want to devour Your Word, the bible. I want to honor You Lord with my every waking moment. I want to honor You with my every thought. And that is where I fall dreadfully short, Lord. What ever is in a man's thought life is also in his heart. Purify me, cleanse me of negative and unclean thoughts. I wish to dwell on that which is good and pure and holy.

I love You Lord. I give this day to You. And I pray these things in Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.

A REAL Man is a Servant

...Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant ... For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:43, 45

Selfishness vs. Servanthood...

When this battle is waged in our lives, do we side with service or selfishness....?

We major in "me." We have this me, my, mine attitude in our lives and forget about others. We want someone else to serve us. We don't want to serve anyone else because we think of servants as weaker than, less than, or below us.

But Jesus Christ, God's only son, came to this earth to blow the doors off of our pre-determined ideas of servanthood. He taught us that serving is the way to freedom, the way to God's heart. And he modeled true servanthood by performing the ultimate act of service. -He gave His life for Us.

When we accept what he did for us, when we bow the knee to Christ, we become armed in the battle against selfishness. God instills in us the character quality that Jesus showed every day of his life - servanthood.

For more information about this and other subjects, visit the Ed Young Ministries website: www.edyoung.org

Today's lesson is taken from a e-mail devotional I received from Ed Young ministries yesterday. It was very timely because my wife and I have just been discussing this very issue with our 13 year old.

I can't say when I developed a servant's heart. I think my mom sorta groomed me from when I was a little boy to be a 'caretaker' of sorts. -Although she didn't explain the spiritual component to it, I believe that God's hand was shaping my life and destiny back then. And now it is my job as a daddy and a MAN to pass those skills along to my kids and model this behavior for the world.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord God, thank You for YOUR act of service. What You did gives us eternal life..! Father I want to be more like You. I want to live a sacrificial life for my family. Help me to be more self-less. Help me to always put You First, Others Second, and Myself Last. Father, I pray that You help me instill these character traits in my own children. And with that in mind I lift up my boys Connor and Elijah this morning.

Father I see raising them as my greatest responsibility. Lord I pray for my sweet wife too. Help me to help her more. Give me wisdom and understanding to do the things that will help her the most.

Father You have blessed me tremendously. Thank You, my King. I give this day to You, Jesus. I love You. And in Your Holy Name I Pray,

Amen.

National Day of Prayer...!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord this is the National Day of Prayer. I lift up our governmental leaders today and pray that this nation turns back to it's roots. America was founded on judeo-christian principals and values but we have drifted far from our original mark. Lord help me and others like me who share these sentiments impact this society and change the present course of events. This world is spiraling out of control. But You can make it right. You can do anything, Father. And Lord I give this country to You.

Father, I just thank You today. I recognize that I have an awesome life. I live in comfort and freedom and have been blessed with good health, a wonderful family, a satisfying career, good friends, and an opportunity to serve You right here in the community where I live.

Father God I feel I'm right in the middle of Your will for my life. I'm not looking for anything or asking for anything extra for myself. I am completely happy. Lord if there is something I am not doing or should do differently, please show me. I want to live a life that is most pleasing to You.

It is my desire to impact those around me for You, my King. I want to raise up Connor and Elijah to be mighty men of God. I want to be a leader and an inspiration to my wife. I want to influence my tennis students and collegues for You, Jesus.

My Lord and Savior these things I do in honor of You. You are my Life, Jesus. You give me life. Everything I have is of You. I am just a steward of this shell of a body. Nothing I have is my own, Lord. I humble myself before You this morning and give You thanks and praise, and worship. I love You Lord. And I give this day to You.

I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Spiritual Warfare: What does the bible say about Satan...?

My study this morning looked at what the bible has to say about our enemy, Satan. Here is some important information about the wicked, evil, ruler of this world:

  1. Satan is a liar. He is the author of the first deception ever recorded when he convinced Eve to eat the apple. Genesis 3:13 He is the Father of lies and deception. John 8:44
  2. Satan is a counterfeit God. He would be like God. That was the cause of his fall from Heaven in the first place. He was jealous of God, and was cast down. Isaiah 14:12-15
  3. Satan is defeated, conquered, and judged. Although he is the present ruler of the world, he is already defeated because of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Christ will come again and kick Satan out of here once and for all. John 16:11
  4. Satan is very Strong, But in Christ We are stronger. Satan is much stronger than we are on our best day under our own power. But Satan is no match for God, though. God created Satan and maintains dominion over him. When we claim Jesus as our Lord and Savior and put on God's holy armor we are more powerful than Satan and can claim victory over him. Ephesians 6:10-20

Satan is currently the ruler of this world. He is prowling around right now seeking to topple the testimonies of God's children. Satan's reign on earth will not last forever, though. Christ is coming back to re-establish His Kingdom here on Earth and cast Satan into the lake of fire for his final death. Christ could come again at any moment. We must live in eager, watchful anticipation of Christ's return.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You Lord for Your Word, the Holy Bible. Lord You give us all the information we need in that book. The bible is truly life's instruction manual. I pray today Lord that more people pick up the bible and read it. I pray that they receive the message of salvation, Lord.

Lord I know many are deceived and living in darkness. Many think they have it all figured out and they don't. Many think that they know everything they need to know because someone else told them, but they themselves have scarcely cracked open the bible in their lives...

Father I stand in the gap for those lost souls this morning. I pray that they see Your holy light shining. Lord my eyes are being opened through this current study. Fill me up Lord so that I can pour out what You would have me pour.

I hunger and thirst for You, my King. I am Your witness. Lord I love You and give this day to You. I offer all that I have to You. I am nothing with out You.

Bless my day Lord. Bless my family. Let us be a blessing to the world. Father God I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

God's Math

Here's an excerpt from an email devotional I received yesterday that was particularly meaningful to me...

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away (subtracts) the sin of the world! John 1:29

Math is important-especially in God's equation for our lives. He uses math in our lives to work out his supernatural equation.

When it comes to applying God's math to our lives, most of us don't mind adding. We love to add new things because it can make life exciting and new. Too often, though, we forget that addition is not the only part of God's equation. He also tells us that we need to occasionally take things away from our lives. But we tend to balk at applying subtraction to life.

What we need to understand is that subtraction is just as important in God's math as addition is. He wants us to subtract those things from our lives that are hurtful or unproductive. God tells us that subtraction is vital for our growth.

What is God telling you to subtract from your life? Is it a harmful habit or a draining relationship? Whatever it is, God wants you to subtract it from your life so that you can grow.

For more information about this and other subjects, visit the Ed Young Ministries website: www.edyoung.org

This devotional is especially meaningful to me because I have recognized the need to subtract (prune) from my schedule for some time. I've been praying about what I need to 'subtract'. This devotional reminds me that there are still decisions to be made. It affirms that I do need to make these decisions soon. The other study I'm doing with my family which I wrote about yesterday discusses how 'busyness' is a key device of Satan. -It all ties in together. Every where I turn I get the same messages that I need to: Slow Down. Prune. Prioritize. Get in the Word. Discipline. Rest. Witness.

People need to see that I have my act together. Running around with my head chopped off being busy all the time is not honoring God. Oh I've got my new routine down in theory. I just need to apply these principles and start living differently. But that's much easier said than done.

So my prayer today is once again about slowing down. It's about subtracting. It's about spiritual warfare.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today I glorify You, Lord. I honor You with the way I live my life. Today I am living totally abandoned to You. I surrender the old Sam. Today the world get's the new and improved Sam. Look out, world.

Father God I put on Your armor this morning and head out for battle. The words I speak today will be words of life. I will be an encourager. I will accomplish much today. What I don't accomplish will be there ready and waiting tomorrow. I won't stress. I will rest. And in the midst of distraction, in the midst of discouragement I will take heart and lean on You My King, My Savior.

I lift up Pastor Ed Young today. I lift up author and teacher Beth More. I lift up Dr Charles Stanley. These servants loyal to the Kingdom have been a tremendous inspiration to me. Bless them and their families, Lord. Help me apply into my life the truths they have taught and pass life messages on to others I encounter.

Lord I lift up my sweet wife this morning. Bless her day. She's trying to apply the same life principles I am, Father. Thank You for giving us each other. Iron sharpens Iron, Lord... And Lord Bless my stepson, Connor. Draw him closer to You. Strengthen my relationship with Him. Help me to be just what he needs in the way of leadership, mentorship, and friendship. And finally Lord I pray for my little baby, Elijah. I pray for Your Best for His life always. Protect him, guide and lead him...

Oh my dear sweet heavenly Father. I lay these requests down at the foot of Your Cross... I pray In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Recognizing Spiritual Attack

My family has begun a bible study series entitled 'When Godly People Do Ungodly Things...' It reveals the truth about spiritual attack, how to recognize it and how to overcome it.

Friends, this world is a spiritual battleground. If you've never given spiritual attack and the devices of the evil one much thought I pray that this week's series of commentary regarding spiritual attack opens your eyes to what I believe is a very misunderstood and overlooked aspect of our lives. We are facing an invisible, extremely powerful adversary. Satan is out to devour souls and ruin the testimony of believers. He never get's tired, he's got plenty of back up demons that serve as his assistant staff, and they are on the job around the clock, 24/7.

Are you constantly facing overwhelming circumstances and busy-ness...? Do you feel beaten down and persecuted...?Are you experiencing despair...? Do you have trouble praying about it...? Over the next few weeks I'll provide commentary and prayer regarding this these topics.

Remember Beloved, Take heart. In Christ we are more than conquerors...!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Oh God, You are my God. My Protector. My comforter. My Healer. My Savior. My King. I worship You. I lift You up. I give my life to You for You are the Prince of Peace and Lord of Lords.

Father God, I pray blessings on my family today. First I lift up my earthly family: My lovely wife, my boys, my brothers and sister and their families, Monica's family and relatives... I pray protection over their lives and I pray for their eternal souls, Jesus.

Lord I also pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that more and more the body of believers recognize that Satan is on the march and at work furiously as we get closer to the end of his reign here on earth. He is out to disturb and ruin lives. He wants to bother those who would be doing the Lord's work and he wants to hinder those lost who might have the potential to believe in the TRUTH.

Father I pray for myself that I shield and protect myself daily with YOUR spiritual armor and that I withstand the attacks of the evil forces that seek to overwhelm me.

Lord Jesus I just give this day to You. Praise be Your Name, Jesus. Thank God thou art with me...! I love You Lord. And I pray these things in Your Sweet, Holy Name,

Amen.
