A Call to Action: Got Witness...?

If you have trusted HIM, you are called to action. Speak the Gospel with boldness. Live your life as a testimony to the Lord who has a glorious place in Heaven reserved for you. Then intercede for those in this country who have dismissed the thought of God’s judgment. May their hearts be softened and warmed by the mercy and compassion of the One who is their only hope.  ~ taken from the Presidential Prayer Team morning devotional.

I have trusted HIM.   But what is my action plan...?   Today's Presidential Prayer Team devotional gave us some excellent suggestions. 

Right now I am trying to be a witness and a role model for my son, Elijah.   I most definitely want to live my life as a testimony to the Lord before my son.  Elijah is watching me closely.  And that's a  blessing.  ~For BOTH of us.

God gives all of us a certain sphere of influence.  Do others around you know that you are a Christian, or do you just blend in to the world...?   The opening statement of the Presidential Prayer Team states:  WE ARE CALLED TO ACTION.

Friends, let our action start with Prayer.  Then follow that with a daily study of God's Holy Word.  The Holy Spirit will take care of the rest.   If you pray for a hunger and thirst for God's Word, your prayer will be answered.

PRAYER is your GREATEST weapon against the forces of darkness.   James 5:16 tells us The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Pray.  Get in God's Word.  Pray Again.   Repeat.
