Working for the Lord

Dr Stanley spoke this morning about having a servant's heart and attitude toward work and interaction with each other. He said Jesus spent his life here on earth serving right to the end.

We are called to emulate Christ's life and that should flow out of all our activities including work. We need to sincerely do our best to reverence the Lord. God's people ought to be the best workers no matter what they are doing. What ever we do we are called to give our best as if we are working for the Lord. It doesn't make any difference what one's vocation is. If we give our best in every circumstance we will not make an impression on others, we will be making a huge impact in their lives.

One of the disdasters of this age is that we act one way in church and another way away from church. We need to make every moment a church experience. Every occupation should be a ministry of some sort. Remember as Christians we are called to be in the world but not of it...!
