It's interesting how when a person gives their testimony the Enemy mounts a counter -attack... That's been the case with me.
I went on the offensive Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday speaking to a youth group during the week and a few adults this past Sunday at church.
I've been praying that God would make me more bold to proclaim is HIS Good News. And True to form, God was faithful. But Satan was right there every step of the way, firing his firey darts.
Today I'm a little down, a little discouraged. Even though I know that Satan is the Father of discouragement, and I know that I oughtn't give in, I'm a little weak this morning.
I need to get back into my independent study of Proverbs.
I need to dive back into The Word.
Pastor Dave was preaching yesterday about dry, dead men's bones and how we get down into the valleys of life. I wouldn't say I'm deep in a valley, but I'm definitely on a slope or an incline this morning...! I wouldn't exactly say I'm experiencing desolation, but I'm not feeling bold today, that's for sure.
One of Pastor Dave's four key points on how to get out of a valley experience was to take the first train out...! That's exactly what I'm going to do this morning. I'm going to just give this circumstance to Jesus. I'm going to give my day to CHRIST.
HE is the Author of All Good Things. He is the conductor of the Train of Salvation. I will rest in Him...

We will pray for you, Sam. It is definitely Satan on the attack. If you find it harder than you thought to take the first train out from the Valley of Desolation, try making two lists side by side: positive things in your life and negative things in your life. I am confident you will see the positive far outweighs the negative.
