Spiritual Warfare

There's a battle being waged right now. Right this very moment. It's a bloody battle. It's Brutal. It's savage. The ENEMY is as a cunning a foe as there ever was. He doesn't fight fairly. He uses circumstances, he manipulates situations, he twists the truth, he orchestrates chaos, and he is the Father of all deception and lies.

He prays on the innocent and the unsuspecting. The bible describes him as a powerful hungry animal lurking about in the dark seeking to kill and devour our souls. He is relentless and will stop at nothing to thwart the efforts of the ones who have dedicated their lives to TRUTH, JUSTICE, PURITY, and LOVE.

Yes, there is a war out. And it's deadly. And in the balance hangs the direction of the lives of those we love and cherish, -Our young people. This war is fought on the terrain of of our thought life. It is waged in a spiritual realm deep inside of our minds and our hearts. And this war is on going, 24/7 around the clock. It is also played out every minute, every day in the daily events of our lives in the here and now.

This morning I stand guard against the Evil One. I stand in the Gap in prayer to protect the weak and the innocent. I lift up Connor and Elijah and bathe them in prayer. I give thanks and praise for my dear sweet wife, Monica. I also acknowledge fellow spiritual warfare guerrilla fighters, Brother Ryan. Brother Mark , Pastor Dave, and many others who stand in gap along side of me helping to prepare the way for the return of our risen Lord and Savior.
